Hmm...well it seems as though my extremely hot boyfriend has an admirer! lol. It's cute, really. He's so nice to everyone, and he at least attempts to make himself look interested in what someone has to say, even if he really doesn't care whatsoever. Some girls might interpret this niceness as flirting, especially if they usually don't get attention.
There's a girl who works at the local Books-A-Million we go to, and she's a little overweight, and probably doesn't get many looks from guys. Well...usually it's just AJ and my brother (since they're roommates at this point in time..yeah, the plot thickens lol) who go every Friday, and this girl has started coming up to them and talking to them. I'm not sure how it started...whether they asked for help with a book or what...but it seems to have progressed to the point where she had to give them a hug on the way out of the store. Yeah, I know...annoying, but harmless.
Anywho, now my brother is hopelessly crushing on her, since she gave him a hug. BUT I happen to disagree with him when he says she's interested in him. My opinion is that she really likes AJ, but is just being nice to Jay, my brother, and didn't want him to feel left out or anything, lol. So I tried a test. I went in there with AJ, holding hands, and we were basically your average PDA couple. She didn't even look at us. Now, if she liked JAY, she could have come over and spoken to him, since he was apparently free. But nothing. AJ even thought this was strange, since she seems to hate working there, and tries to time her breaks so that she takes them while the guys are at the store.
They went back yesterday (Friday night), without me, and sure enough, she was all smiles and hugs and conversation.
I know this is really stupid, but I'm enjoying this lol. I will be very obviously pregnant soon (I'm about a month and a half along, maybe), and all this will end soon as she realizes that there will be no change in personnel anytime soon. I think this secret meanness comes from me not being able to express myself to guys in high school, and always having to sit back, watching, while other girls went out with the guys I liked. I guess now the tables have turned, and it's me enjoying pissing off girls that want to go out with my guy.
What can I say? I have a hot boyfriend! :D |
