Well, finally...
I haven't been able to access this site to update things since I signed up, lol...
GOD so much has happened...
Where do I begin? Well...first off, I'm pregnant with my fourth child, and this one has a different father than the rest of them. I'm divorced, and all three of my living children are from my ex-husband. This one is from my boyfriend, whom I shall call AJ here, and whom I was not seeing until after my divorce, just to clarify things lol. All perfectly legal and above-board, as they say. :)
Anywho...we're considering moving in together, which is a big step for me, as I have never lived with anyone of the opposite sex, unless I was married or related to him. (NEVER both, lol) And I'm wondering how this will affect our relationship. Right now, things are going well, mostly, and it's at the point where if we argue, we can both go to our separate homes and cool off. When you're living together, you can't do that. @@ I just hope we can make it work, we're both really wanting to try. He wants to be with me during my pregnancy, and be there to help with the other kids while all this is going on.
Problem time: his ex-girlfriend appears out of nowhere and offers him a job. Not only is that in close quarters with her, which I am not comfortable with, it is over an hour's drive away. I suppose I should just suck it up and learn to trust people again, which is difficult, since that's mainly what the divorce was about. I couldn't stay with someone I couldn't trust. As far as I know, AJ hasn't done anything to hurt this relationship, and I don't think he would. I know he loves me. But that damn insecurity is still there, ingrained in me from that awful marriage. :(
On the plus side, if we could find us a place closer to his prospective job, he would actually be making more money than he is now, and at something he enjoys doing, video games. Then at least he wouldn't be burning up the extra money during the commute.
I have a lot to work through, lol...boy.
