The New American Idol?
Tonight's the night...it's gonna be all right...

No really, tonight's the night we get to see who'll be the next American Idol. Being an Alabamian, I'm excited that one of our own has made it to the top two...dirty past and all. I visited the message boards a couple of times, and it irritated me to no end how people were bashing Bo and his life mistakes! As if they were all squeaky clean and righteous!! :P Pfffft! Right... I'd rather have an American Idol who's not afraid to admit to his mistakes and learn from them, than have someone who we can't even identify with. There's no way we can all be prissy and perfect, and it's nice to see someone up there who embodies the rawness of America and the South. So all you Bo-bashers...STUFF IT!!! 'Cuz I'm not listening. :D

In other news, we got our house FINALLY LOL. We'll be able to move in on June 22, and we're all excited. This is a big step for us. Time to find out whether we're ready to take this relationship to the next level, and whether we can all survive in the same house together. I think this is such a good idea instead of panicking and trying to get married just b/c we have a child on the way. That's what I did the first time, and you see how miserable that was...yeah...ok LOL. Enough dwelling on the painful past. Time to look to the future and the possibility of having an actual family this time around. I love him, my kids love him, he loves me, he loves my kids...what else do we need? :)
